Data Import Management<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Users can upload files containing multiple stamp duty payment requests to the GeStamp Duty system. After uploading, the system will process each record to verify compliance with the Revenue Department\u2019s requirements. The system will then separate the data into two categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. The category of records that have been verified as correct<\/strong> If the number of records in this category exceeds 1,000, the system will split the records into batches of 1,000 each. These batches are called \u201cBatches,\u201d and their status will be marked as \u201cPreparing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, if a user uploads a file containing 3,555 valid records, the system will divide them into 4 batches: the first 3 batches will contain 1,000 records each, and the 4th batch will contain 555 records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The system uses the import file name to name each batch, allowing users to easily identify which batches originate from the same uploaded file.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This may be subject to change if the Revenue Department allows submission of more than 1,000 records per request in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. The category of records that have been verified as incorrect<\/strong> All erroneous records will be grouped into a single set, also referred to as a 'Batch'. The system will assign this batch a status of 'Input Error'. Users can view details on how to correct the data at: How to correcting invalid data.<\/mark><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
The system uses the import file name to name the batch, followed by the text '(Error)', so that users can identify which file the erroneous batch originated from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
